3 Tbsp. butter*
1 bunch fresh asparagus
3 cloves garlic, minces
salt and pepper to taste

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute garlic 1 minute. Add asparagus spears stirring occasionally. Cook 10 minutes until asparagus is tender. (If you like your asparagus really well done, reduce heat and cook 10 more minutes.)
