  • 4 carrots, medium size, peeled, sliced
  • ½ head cabbage, medium size, washed, shredded
  • 4 onions, medium size, peeled, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cups boiling broth (vegetable or chicken)
  • Seasonings to taste with a pinch of ginger or white pepper
Put seasonings in the boiling broth.
Add all other ingredients.
Boil for about 25 minutes.
Then serve.
